A Year late! Far From Alaska is amazing, but they are in a hiatus for the moment :c Emily (Vocals) is now playing in a very nice band called "Ego Kill Talent", they did a tour with Evanescence this year! Chris (Keys) and Rafael (Guitar) have a new band called Swave, with members of another brazilian band called Violet Soda and Supercombo, but they will release their first single at August 1st! Wow, that IS good. Actually it's GREAT! Its got an early No Doubt vibe before they sold out, or a female led early Green Day. It is bluesy, but it's also very punk. And the best punk tends to be basic and roots oriented like the Ramones. Simple is effective if done right. Great reaction! (Shirley Manson liking them makes sense, it's very Garbage sounding. The band not the stuff we send to landfills)

Love it! I was hearing a mid 90s influence - not grungy but dirty. Garbage influence makes sense - almost danceable. Strong voice. Someone you’d like to go drinking with.
