the bowler you just passed by saying that the speed is just 133, is the great waqar younis a better bowler than shoaib akhtar. In his peak waqar was above 145 always and one of the most feared bowler in the world.

The guy who clocked at 133 used to be the fastest in early 90's. In his prime they didnt use speed guns, he was recorded at 153kph in 1995 when he already lost some pace after a major injury comeback. He is also a legend Waqar Younis. Known to have deadliest yorkers. His yourkers were called banana yorkers because of the banana shaped inswinging trajectory of his deliveries. Please look for and react to "Waqar Younis Yorkers". You would be amazed.

He was beaten by the inswing as well as the pace. Incidentally this is the same game he bowled that bouncer at Shane Watson, which btw I noticed you've reacted to twice with 2 years between the 2. The one you passed by saying 133 kph, was Legend Reverse swing Yorkers Sensei Master Waqar Younis in his peak he was also over 155kph 158kph then injury came. Akhtar model himself on Waqar Younis bowling action early.

Prbs the fastest Akhtar bowled at Ponting was the 1999 test in Perth on a typical lightning fast pitch there. Ponting was lucky not to get hit, he was the best player of fast short pitched bowling I ever saw and it's the only time i saw that it was literally too quick for him to pull. Even Ponting and Langer at the non strikers laughed about it after, it was that ridiculously fast.

I don't think Ponting was late on that ball. But it did look like it decked in, which moved it inside his bat swing. Ponting was not being defensive - he drove at every ball. And he certainly wasn't scared.
