The guy at the end is from Québec like me. French is our native language, but English as a second language is a mandatory class at school. We have a different accent than the one from France. The song he was singing is Les Étoiles Filantes (the shooting stars) from a very popular band called Les Cowboys Fringuants (the dashing/frisky cowboys). The vocalist, Karl Tremblay, died recently of prostate cancer on November 15th 2023 at the age of 47. It was all over the news here in Québec. I believe the guy on OmeTV was paying homage to him.
