Ricky Watters Highlights

A brash, bold player who backed it up on gameday. Watters ran for over 10,000 yards and had over 4,200 receiving yards along with 91 total touchdowns in his career. Watters also was a 5x Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl Champion with the 49ers. A good player, but not good enough for the Hall of Fame.

Ricky Watters is very underrated as a pure runner who was was known throughout his playing career for his outstanding receiving skills and his unique high-step running style, which earned him the nickname Ricky "Running" Watters. At least, he won a Super Bowl with the 49ers.

Biggest mistake the 49ers made....not resigning Ricky Watters in 1995. The lack of a run game killed that team going forward

I love how they say well he never won a superbowl so that's a knock on him. He scored 3 tds in a superbowl. He played as good as any running back in a superbowl. Football is a team sport. No one single player has ever won a superbowl. The people that say HE NEVER won a superbowl are idiots

The for who for what comment means the risk of injury was greater than the reward of "stretching out" for a bad pass. It aint politically correct but you see players make that decision every day! People were looking for a reason, because you could never say he doesn't play hard with a straight face and have ANY credibility. They want to punish him for being brash, conceited, and brutally honest.
