I keep missing the live sessions so thanks for making them available on KZbin. Sometimes you confuse me with the digressions (but don't stop doing them!) but I always learn useful stuff.

Good luck with a smaller nut width Ricky, was in the same ballpark 😵💫 You‘ll find 1 9/16" nuts in 65-69 Gibsons, mostly ES 335 & SG and some LP. But expensive as hell. Maybe you find Vintage correct newer Gibsons/Epis. Some Fenders were made with a smaller nut that area. There‘s a rumor that Jimi played one in 1969-1970… Kurt‘s JagStang was around 40mm for sure, I think the newer iterations aswell. And Larry Carlton tried to put those on his Sire series (like his beloved `69 ES 335) but failed to my knowledge. Cheers from Germany *Andy Timmons comes to my mind. Some smaller nuts on his Ibanez Sigs?

Question,, you said use the Scout finger. So how about if you make a minor barre chord,, do you put on the scout finger set up everything then take off the scout finger
@rickysguitar4 ай бұрын
No for an em shaped barre chord fingers 3 and 4 (ring and pinky) land together as the scout, then the barre is applied. If it was an am shaped chord the sequence would be finger 2 (middle), shape then barre.

@@rickysguitar let me just say that you made barre chords 10x easier. I always put the barre first. I’m excited to use barre chords now. Love you man.

Have you looked at “Big Lou Guitars”? They make wide neck electric guitars. I bought the Telecaster style. Very roomy fretboard for my sausage fingers.
