Jem is excitement. Jem is adventure. Glamor and glitter, fashion and fame! Jem & The Holograms still hold up to this day!!! The storylines of each episode of that show were EPIC and TRULY OUTRAGEOUS! The complete series is on Tubi right now to watch for free. It would've been cool to see Jem's long time rival and ultimate heel Phyliss, the lead singer of those dastardly Misfits, in there duking it out with Jem, the ultimate baby face. Because you can’t guarantee the best candidates will win nor can we guarantee the worst competitors are automatically the first out, you cannot even predict just how this match is going to end. Now when this 80’s cartoon rumble was slated to have an unexpected finish, I’ll admit I got the wrong idea on what that actually meant. Offhand, I assumed the winner would be the wild card competitor who didn’t get her career started till the mid 90’s and when that didn’t happen I thought a maternal Simpson would somehow score the upset victory. But instead, in an incredible final two battle, the winner would end up being a competitor who’s made numerous appearances in this series but has rarely scored a major victory. She-Ra, twin sister of He-Man, and most recently the star of her own Netflix series, would finally score the biggest victory in her career and cementing herself a place in the champion’s finals. From the beginning, it was always intended for She-Ra to extend the appeal of the ‘Masters of the Universe’ setting being of interest to young girls in the same manner as He-Man appealed to young boys. She’d be introduced through the ‘Secret of the Sword’ as Force Captain Adora of the Horde ruling Etheria, but turned out to not only be a princess but the long-lost twin sister of Prince Adam a.k.a. He-Man. The 2018 series featured a much younger She-Ra and set primarily in a different universe with ‘limited’ connections to Masters of the Universe. But no matter how you remember ‘She-Ra’ best, primarily the version you grew with, what we saw in this match was a woman determined to become a champion by any means. But who was my MVP of this 80’s cartoon rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the twenty women featured in this match, only NINE women secured the most eliminations (Almost half the roster). The highest count of the night reached ‘4’ eliminations, which is three points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to: Arcee Had she not been so occupied toying with her opponents, Arcee would’ve done the Autobots proud by successfully cashing in her spot in the champion’s finale. As the final entrant of the match, Arcee was able to secure the most eliminations in a rather impressive fashion and quite honestly I was rooting for her to win the match. Arcee may still have a chance to qualify if an MVP rumble is still an option for this season and hopefully she’ll take the circumstances of this match slightly more seriously. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to: Zarana From what I was able to discover, Zarana is not only affiliated with Cobra as a member of the Dreadnoks, but she’s also the younger sister of Zartan and fraternal twin of Zandar. Supposedly, she’s a professional assassin and expert in small arts, while also a master of disguise who can fool even the best military specialists. Unfortunately, there was no way this world-class method actress could disguise the fact that she not only missed out on a chance to partake in the champion’s finale but the manner that she was eliminated by a singer who wasn’t even an 80’s cartoon star. That would almost feel degrading on her part to lose this way… and yet I’ve seen worse over the course of this series. Thanks to a timely maneuver, She-Ra will be joining her fellow champions for a chance at becoming the first woman to win a Ricky J. Champion’s rumble. As the road continues, many questions remain: Will we have a glimpse of the biggest 90’s women’s characters in this season? Will another wild card be granted a chance to prove herself after missing a rumble? Could we perchance see a rumble dedicated to the female characters on Broadway? But the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?

Wow! That one was the best I think from this season? Yes, I watched Jem and The Holograms, my sister watched it too. She Ra wins that's great! Who was Crimson Ash from which cartoon? Zarana is the twin of her brother Zandar who worked for Zartan. The creater of Lisa Simpson made her character to big, but it was a good creation. If you do, do a part 2 for the 80's cartoons. There's others: Daphne, Velma, Lady Jaye, Jinx, the 2 girls from the Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Cartoon (forgot their names), Barbie, Miss Pac Man from the cartoon, Strawberry Shortcake, Yellow Power Ranger (maybe the 80's, I don't remember?), Rainbow Bright, the girl Care Bear, & My Little Pony any character; just to name a few! I can't wait to see your next episode !

I had the advantage of having 2 sisters who're 1.5yrs older than me, so I watched Jem, Care Bears, Wuzzles, Rainbow Brite etc... about as much as I watched Thundercats, He-Man, Danger Mouse, Bananaman etc... Have to ask, from one old school He-Man fan to another, what do you think of Revelation, Ricky? Personally really like it, but I get that there're those who don't. Miss Piggy looks more like Peppa Pig's Mum. Though that'd still be a cartoon character, just not from the 80s. Wow. Talk about toughing it out and finding a way to win! Got to be a favourite for the whole thing with how she held on at the end there!
