Hard Reset Alcatel Tablet through Android Recovery

Why do all the articles EVERYWHERE online say to release both buttons?! Releasing only power and keeping volume up held is the trick to get into recovery and this is the first time that has been mentioned!

Thanks mate, i use that type of tablet as like an ipod to hold songs, since its small and not that small if you understand 😂. None of the songs play now so i hard reset it like in the video and now it works 😊

I just want to let some of you know that this does indeed work, but some models utilize the volume down instead of up. It’s also worth mentioning that if you’re doing this because it’s locked or someone else’s tablet that was given to you, it’s still gonna ask you for the owners recovery email and password.

It took me many tries. Really as soon as I saw the logo come up I let go of the power button and pressed volume up for longer

Hold down both power and volume up, After you see the logo let go and power button and after 2sec release volume up , that worked the trick for me , I tried it on 1T7

Good morning! You can help me. I have an Android tablet Go edition Alcatel 9013A which cannot launch. It displays the following messages. dm = verify corruption. Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly. Press power button to continue. Or device will power off in 5s. When it manages to launch it displays it blocks on enjoy.now.

All you need to do is When the Alcatel logo pops up press the power and volume down bar together And then there will be three options they are: Recovery mode Fastboot mode Normal boot mode Click on the recovery mode and then the Alcatel logo will pop up again Then you need to choose the language you need Then it will show some option Out of those options if you can see the wipe date/factory reset , you need to click on it Then it will show another options ,if you can see the reboot system now you need click on it Incase if it's not working immediately give it to the place your bought your tab from. Did you download virus files from web?
