I’m a big fan of you steven, my favorite city creator by FAR and it’s not even close. I think I find myself disagreeing with you for the first time since the blue moon rising days! I think nunes not smiling was more of a hes disappointed in himself and he wants to prove people wrong type of way and NOT him acting moody for no reason. O’Reilly as the 6… still developing *however- I found his play to be more compelling on the rare occasions he found himself as the 8/10 in this game. As well Foden is not our Haaland backup solution… this was woeful, he created brilliant chances farther back, and I found McAtee runs, positioning and follow thru to be better in comparison for the 9. Nunes and Grealish… wow… something is there, that was entertaining. And Braithwaite… I liked his defensive actions, you could see his nervousness in the first half but after that tackle made on him, I think he stepped up. I wanted to see him move further up to see if he’s similar to Lewis. Is he a CB or a LB?

what's currently sucks about these academy youngsters are defensive capability, oh my godness, it's always messed up everytime lads got counter attacked, and this is "only" watford, our boys handled the counter attack very poorly. I'm happy these youngsters playing, carabao cup may the only medium Pep will give chances to them. For god sake, be more discipline of defensive tasks, with Lewis, McAtee and others I don't really worried about creativeness

Nunes didn't celebrate because of the nature of the game ,and he didn't feel it was appropriate I think. Similar with Doku. I didn't think he had a great game. But Grealish,Foden and Macatee were extremely poor in patches. The young lads did well. Rico and Walker were easily our best players. Think you are reading too much into Nunes. Let's give him a chance.

Yes, you and Lewis fanboys. Lewis is fine as long as he's not facing any quick, aggressive forward lines. He's POOR with his tactical positioning in defence, overall. That's why he played 10 games or so, last season, and then got benched for most of last season. Lewis, however, I will agree is excellent in att mid, but most places before that he's a liability when given no space. He needs that space to play his best, so let's not go overboard. Luckily for him, Rodri is out, so he will get more game time. If that hadn't happened he'd be benched around the 10-15 game mark as we start to get our rhythm.
