I saw many videos tutorials on this subject before I found yours. The only one that made sense to me. Thank you!

Thanks so much for your casting off tips! You're very kind to share your knowledge. I was cracking up with how untidy my cast off stitches looked with this type of wool! 😁

Great, thanks Aideen. I was given this wool as a gift a few years ago and couldn't figure out how to knit it. Now I know!

OK, so where do you put the dangling pompoms at cast-on and cast off? How do you secure these ends? I really dont know how to 'finish' the blanket.

Ditto ........ Also how does one attach a new ball of pom pom yarn? Or change colours?

Ok so I literally just join at the end of a row, the way I would with a regular ball of wool, and I use scissors and trim down the pom poms at the end, so I can get the wool (which is cord like) and weave it in through the blanket, sneakily!@@fizzknit9446

I keep picking up an extra stitch or 2 every row. Any suggestions? Like I had 50 going across and now I have 51 ?

Hmm... I’m not sure how you are picking them up-maybe check that you have only two between each pom

I find the cast off way to tight using this method, is there an alternative?

Did you use circular or regular needles for this please?
@AideenFallon4 жыл бұрын
Melissa Moss hi there! I used regular needles but you can use either just turn your work over and back at the end of the row if using circulars!
