Nothing but respect for Rico Wade his family and the entire Dungeon Family. We lost a legend today. He was apart of not only Atlanta but the South running the music game the last 30 years. I remember the first time I heard that OutKast album Sounthernplayalisticadillacmuzik on tape! My life was changed forever mane!

I've known Rico for many years. I chilled with him for years. I recorded at the studio and hung out with him for many years. All the bro's over there were super cool. Rico was actually a good guy. Never hurt anyone. No ego. He loved to laugh, smile, and have fun. He was a handsome dude. Very smooth. Stand up guy. He wasn't judgmental. He allowed me to be at his house when I came from a different rap crew, he didn't care, he treated me like a friend. At this moment, I feel like a part of ATL just died. He and Ray and Pat, gave ATL Rap credibility. Before Organized, nobody took ATL rappers seriously when it came to lyrics. Rico and them created groups that no other coast could deny. I still remember the last time I spoke to Rico. He was very positive, as always. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to hang out and chill with ATL'S biggest legend. To his kids, your dad was great even before you all walked earth. To the rest of his family, thanks for giving us Rico. RIP TO THE LEGEND RICO WADE.

I dont think people realize the impact of what Rico Wade, Ray Murray, Sleepy Brown and Big Rube had on our generation. These dudes gave young black men who had no solid guidance or father figures a form of mentoring and guidance through their music. As a young man, I took that DF message to heart and that shit kept me inspired and helped me feel stronger in a pit full of hyenas. The entire DF played a part in a lot of black men lives across this fucking planet and that's truly some shit that can only happen from a power beyond worldly nature. That shit was powerful from a universal level.

Rico took me under his wing and taught me so much. It was just a about being around him, Ray, Goodie Mob, and other guys and girls that just wanted some of that energy to rub off on us. He was instrumental in Groove Stain’s last record. I was a part of every recorded second of that record from the performances to the mixing to the mastering, and I’d remember things he’d say and the way Rico listened to music. I embodied that producer in the studio and that record is great. I look back today and I’m proud to have something so shiny. Thank you Dungeon Family y’all are my brothers for life!!

I love Rico Wade's energy, it's not very often that I see such an expressive brother in music as most of the artists and CEOs I tend to watch are more calm/collected, but Rico brings a different perspective of being able to become bombastic in the things he's passionate about and utilize stories to get the point across. I feel like I'm learning from my uncle at the cookout whenever I watch his content, thank you TheBeeShine for keeping this interview up :)

Organized Noise is a mixture of the Eastcoast & the Westcoast musically. It was full circle. I remember hearing southernplayalisticadillac & feeling that feeling and it being from the south. Im from Nothhwest Texas. No better feeling as a 13 year old in 93. Rap came full circle. I've loved hip hop/rap since 1983/84. Along with NWA/WCW lol
