Good you learned this lesson early. Alcohol killed many in my family and sent me on a very bad track. Drugs, drink and late nights. I quit forever. Not a part time drinker. A total non drinker. Burn the boats!!! I quit then became a millionaire. Early birds catch worms, hangovers hold you back. Keep going my friend

Proverbs 14:12-16 KJV There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death. Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; And the end of that mirth is heaviness. The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: And a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Welcome back Rico. I really was concerned about you. I don’t know you at all but I saw the change in you from watching your videos. I thought to myself “where is that nice guy that seemed to have such a sweet life with his cute cat and loving girlfriend.” You are still so young and will experience many things in life - good and bad. Your maturity in recognizing that lifestyle you have been living recently is not for you is really really admirable. Like I said, I don’t know you at all but I am so proud of you and relieved the real Rico is back!

Rico, welcome back! Great to see you again. I had wondered if you were taking a break because you were so busy with work. To be honest, I was concerned. Obviously I don’t know, but you feel like a friend. I’m so sorry to hear what you have been going through, although I’m glad to hear you are bouncing back to your optimistic self - well done and good for you! I’m sorry to hear about your girlfriend, I really thought you both would be together forever. I started crying when I heard about Ruby. I never saw your previous video about her going missing. OMG! I know how you must be feeling. My 3 dogs died over a 4 year period - I’m still absolutely devastated. The last was a Mastiff. He had a brain tumour. As with my girls, I couldn’t do anything to stop the cancer. With his last breath he kissed me goodbye. Even the Vet was crying - I still cry over a year later! My girls I’d had for 17 years and my Mastiff nearly 14 years (far longer than the breed life expectancy) These little ones (and big ones!) get into your heart - their paws 🐾 are forever there. It’s been incredibly brave of you to bare your soul and tell your journey, I personally feel very privileged to listen to you opening up and being so honest and vulnerable. I hope your mother is doing well, it must be so hard for her. Will she ever visit you in Cyprus? I can relate to a lot you have said, as my childhood wasn’t really a childhood. People thought I lived the life of a Princess and had everything, but no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. So it’s indeed incredibly brave of you to be so open and vulnerable. I really admire you. I heard you say you had a best friend, so I’m glad you have someone to whom you can turn and someone you can trust. We all need that. Trust is the greatest issue I find, so if you can trust someone enough to discuss things with, that will help enormously. The old saying ……. “a troubled shared is a trouble halved” is very true! Congratulations for pulling through and above all getting on with your life and being determined to make the most and be positive! Hoping everything is onwards and upwards for you hereon after; no more problems. Take care.

Hi Rico, for some reason, all alcoholics end up drinking Vodka, my little sister is the same. She is drinking 2 or 3 bottles of vodka every day. What you have gone through is very common, I lived the crazy life when I was a teenager, until I decided to change and ignore all the nightlife, all the alcohol, all the parties, and it was the best decision I ever made. We have to be glad that we went through that and came out on the other side, feeling wiser and stronger. And my cat also disappeared a few weeks ago.... funny how similar our lives can be. We learn, we make changes accordingly, and move into better things, more solid things, better healthier relationships, and better life overall. Take care... and keep going!

"The Way of Men is the Way of the Gang." :)
