I definitely screwed up Antukin when I first learned it and played the G in the chorus as a G major instead of minor. I realized after playing it with you live that I was playing the wrong chord. Ouch, hard way to learn. Beginner mistake. My ear wasn't great back then. Definitely corrected it since. Also, sang Himala with the wrong melody, haha. Thank you Rico. This is helpful para sa mga tulad namin na gusto muna matutunan exactly paano sinulat ang kanta. It's helpful to know how the song was written first bago ka magcover. Punto ko is to learn the accurate way muna then maglaro ka nalang ng chords and melody pagnagcover ka. Reharmonize. Walang right or wrong dito. May mga tao parin kasi na prefer aralin yung orihinal na progression and melody lines so tama lang na pinost tong video na ito.

I highly agree, when playing cover songs it's best to play it the way it was recorded as to give respect to the masterpiece of its songwriters, arrangers and performers. There is always some great techniques to learn by trying to mimic the way it was played during recording.

That’s what covers are supposed to do after all, make songs better.
