hi, I am asking how to install a new magnetic roll and adjust the ink thickness settings on the magnetic roll, on a Gestetner mp2500 machine Thank you for your response.

Sometimes you can't unscrew the developer dosing strip, which is called Doctor Blade. The strip is factory set and the thickness of the gap is not specified by the manufacturer. If you unscrewed the strip, you have a problem.

In my opinion, check if you have a piece of paper somewhere, then check the paper sensors, finally replace the registration clutch. Of course, at the very beginning, make sure that your paper pick-up rollers from the cassette are not worn.
