Ricoh GR2 - Still Amazing in 2023

I bought an RX1R in 2022, finally I can take a lot of Pic in low light as I imagine it in my mind. My only camera before it for years is an RX100iii, even smaller than the GR3, but that sensor is ass on low light.

A great camera! The GRii is not the best in low light but it's usable, especially if you like a bit of grain in images.

*2023….. I had to chuckle because I do the same. It’ll be May before I say it’s 2023. Great point. Stay away from GAS. A model or two old is no big deal. Great video.

Most of the colour ones are sooc or with minor contrast tweaks. The b&w shots are positive film jpegs with my own b&w lightroom preset added.

My GRII is one of my favorite cameras. I’ll never sell it.

Does somebody know how to use an external manual flash with it? Somehow my Ricoh GRII doesn‘t trigger my Leica CF Flash, which works on basically everything from SLRs to my digital Sony. If I attach it to the Ricoh nothing happens and I can’t even get to the flash settings. Am I missing something?
