As a newby,my GR111 is still on version 1.20 firmware.Can I update the firmware directly to Version 1.81 by passing all previous update versions ?Would be grateful for a response.Great videos by the way.Many thanks.

I connected my GR III to my MacBook Air via USB but I can't seem to find it in the locations menu of the Finder Side bar. Anything I could be doing wrong?

To transfer images off the camera you may have to use an app from Ricoh. I shoot to the SD card and insert it into the card reader on my Mac.

Hi, I upgraded before watching this video, and so I skipped the first step of formatting the SD card first. I was able to install the upgrade, but now I can't use my camera, as it freezes after taking one picture or when I try to view the pictures taken. Would you have any idea how to fix this? Thanks

Try reformatting the card in the camera, there’s a menu function for that. You will lose any pictures on the card, so transfer them to your computer first.

There’s also a feature where the GR3 has its own internal memory, separate from the SD card, so you can shoot without the card.
