I bought the non super version in 1981. Yesterday in 2020 loaded with 35mm film and went to a place I last used it in 1983. What memories. This was and is a great camera. Very underrated. Easy to use TTL exposure system for manual or auto. A true classic this camera. Built to last. I own two now.

My dad recently gave me his RICOH KR-10m and I’ve been trying to get to grips with how to use it as a newbie to film photography. Your video has been really helpful! Thankyou.

I have just bought a Ricoh kr10 super with the 50mm F2 for £16. Can't wait to try it out.

This was a really good video! I have this camera and I wanted to know if it's possible to push the iso, so for example if I have a 400 iso film push it 1 step to 800

A year late, but reading online it says you cannot change the iso... fixed to the DX setting.

Hi, I pretty much like the form of this 'review' - so in contrast with hyped 'gadget guys' :) Nice & slow tempo and language. Are you a camera collector, or pro? Came here accidentaly, after searching for some info on KR10m (it's on the way to me). (btw: maybe the shutter time is slow because some ND/polarizer on the lens?)

Thanks. I'm certainly not a 'Pro' just someone with an interest in photography. Particularly film photography. I've definitely got a fair few cameras-too many!- but not as a collector. Just cameras I've picked up over the years. Thanks for watching.

@@blackdogwildtrails3123 I know this 'I have too many cameras' feeling very well :) Actually, my (old) new KR10m is just film loaded, and ready. I like it very much overall, but I noticed one negative: when setting ISO manually with EV compensation (as listed in manual), this resets to zero every time you turn off the camera. No very practical.

Do you know what battery is needed for the kr-30sp
@blackdogwildtrails31233 жыл бұрын
Hi...Mine just has 4 standard AA batteries. You just need a flat head driver to take the side cover off.

I believe the kr30sp uses a coin battery number LR44. I think that is the right number, and it takes 4 of them.

I believe it will be subdued with that polarizer filter on there....LOL...
