The one thing that I had to ask tech support about that is never mentioned on any of the videos, is can this machine wind bobbins? That answer is NO! You have to either own another sewing machine to wind your own bobbins on, or do as I did and purchase a box of 144 Type L pre-wound bobbins for around $30 delivered (2021 price).

Nobody winds bobbins nowadays, you can buy pre-wound for very low prices and can even find them in different colors

It is not required to purchase from Jiffy but you will pay more than someone that has one.
