Hi, very useful video! However, when I attempt to view and/or download the diary template either on Excel or Google Docs, the file has some compatibility issues, particularly on the competency tracker (it doesn't show the percentage pie charts like it does on the KZbin video). Would this be resolved if I purchased the file? Many thanks.

Is the 96-hour CPD requirement for RICS membership or Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) candidates calculated over the 24-month period before the assessment submission date? I mean what if one appears for the RICS assessment after 4 years of registering. Does that mean one needs to complete 48hr X 4yr = 192hrs CPD in total?

When you say each month a percentage of level 1 competencies must be completed so 50% of level 1 by a certain month to 75% in a few months after that, what do you mean by “completed” how do you complete a competency is it just recording it in the diary for a certain number of times?

Hi Michael For a competency to be complete it should be populated within your summary of experience, recorded in your diary and signed off by your counsellor and supervisor. Hope that's helps and best of luck!

Hi there thanks for your query, yes you still need to record your Cpd hours on the non structured route. Please check the pathway guide for how many hours you will require

Hi, just letting you know that theres a slight error on the formula for the % complete dashboard. The quantification & costing of construction works doesn’t follow through into the dashboard. Its because the name doesnt match the data table. Thanks for the vid and spreadsheet, really helpful!

I enrolled as a candidate when I started my grad scheme but I think I want an extra year before I take the APC. Should I just do my diary for 24 months up to the submittion point or can/should it be longer?

Hi Jordan I would recommend that you start recording your diary for longer if possible. That way you will have a better selection of experience to allocate into each of the competencies. Hope that helps and best of luck with your APC
