I have a roach infested vehicle. this is my Rid-A-Bug Fogger Review. Does Rid-A-Bug work in cars? I need Rid-A-Bug Fogger to kill these roaches in a 2002 Ford Explorer so I can sell it.

So what did you end up doing to get rid of them? Unfortunately I came across this problem and have absolutely no idea how when I’m constantly cleaning my car so I won’t go I to huge depth but I’m a a severe clean freak, and germaphobe so I don’t get… I do have kids so I’m sure them eating in the car had t helped but I can’t take this and I’m so scared they will get into my house 😭😭😭

I think we used 9 cans of fogger as well as boric acid. I still never felt comfortable around that car. We sold it pretty quickly, though. IF you leave food/drink in your car, you're gonna have a bad time. This goes for spills, crumbs, wrappers, etc.

Man yall have no idea bruh i bought this car from my homeboy after he bought a new car and it had been sitting there for about a month, the second i got in, i saw a roach and didnt think too much about it…about 2 or 3 months later i get kicked out my parents house and go homeless seeping in my car, that has roaches in it, unregistered with no gas money and no license plate and no idea how to get rid of them for over 2 months, and i still have them so if anyone has any suggestions please tell me😂

Raid is the only thing that works.. also use boric acid mixed with something sweet I've used syrup,peanut butter, anything the roaches eat or crawl through. When you start seeing only babies you will want to fog again with raid and also use raid barrier spray

Raid does seem to work better. Maybe there’s more poison in it. And in that vehicle, I did also use boric acid. That’s a classic roach killer.

Just a question to ask, for any others who might have to do this after buying a used car, did you have to have the car detail cleaned afterwards to get the poison out of the seats fabric? For the potential occupants?

Make sure you read the can see what kind of roaches it can kill and make how many feet it can reach and dude open up the hatch put ur cans where the extra tires are dont pur them on top of the hatch and make sure ur putting the other cans under each seat and I would spray all the crevices of the car and the air vents and the dashboard with boric acid before bug bombing and when you do bomb it have the car running for a few hours make sure ur air is on just tried it about a week ago in my car and did another treatment last night I saw no more roaches

Hot shot worked for me. Killed a bunch of the large roaches after 4 hours doors locked. Spreading boric acid around now to take care of any stragglers

Get a ozone machine. It'll kill anything living guaranteed from what they say. Haven't had critters luckily but it removes the smoke smell from your AC and interior very well!

I never knew that. About the ozone machine, if I have it in running in a car to deodorize it or kill bugs and I have on a smelly sweater, can I hop in with the ozone machine? Sometimes if I go to lunch and come back smelling like food it drives me crazy. This kind of machine could help.

Those are probably german roaches. They are literally the worst types and hard to get rid of. Also they are alot smaller and breed alot more and faster. Those you've seen in ya house now and then are probably american roaches(large outdoor roaches that can infest but easier to control). German roaches are small and are known for home infestations. When you hear of people having thousands of roaches this is the one's they mean.

I'm not 100% sure where the car came from, but I would guess near where the auction was which is in Southern Louisiana. Southern LA = lots of roaches so you can't be nasty and not pick up food and crumbs.

@@teshomevaughn4162 not really. Unless you spray it directly into the engine itself but throwing a few in the car and under the car with a tarp over it should work at least to a degree. But yeah it will be very hard to get rig of roaches, especially german roaches. Baits in unison with this will work better and kill the nest.

I bought these from Dollar General. I believe the insecticide is specific to what type of bug or insect you're trying to kill. I would imagine a fogger for mites, bed bugs, fleas and/or ticks would be a different insecticide. I would definitely look for one that describes what you're trying to kill. Good Luck!! I think that’s if you use it in a home with the electricity on. (You don’t want your hvac on). This vehicle had the battery disconnected. No fire worries.

I have this problem now, its ALOT!!! idk why🤷‍♀️ i clean rental homes & have trash bags w linens but none are ever wet & i don’t leave food/trash. I do park in the grass so idk if that is why but i can’t stand driving in it, especially bad at night! You look in after 10pm you can see 50+ crawling all over the white bags of linens 🤦‍♀️its a problem!! I am going to buy the best bug fogger and spread boric acid and 🤞 it works.

That’s awful. You’ll have to be as persistent as they are. Another tip is to pressure wash under your vehicle or go through a car wash that has the undercarriage sprayer.

Fleas are another beast. Maybe MORE difficult than roaches. Not as gross as roaches, but more of a pest because they're tiny and they bite. Good Luck! They sell fogger like this for fleas. I think there's a lot more prep work involved to be effective against fleas.

You really shouldn't use a fogger in a car. the label says do not use in a space that is 5x5 or small. However, a lot of labels recommend 5x5 with 8 foot ceiling. Reason being is that its a fire hazard and the can could explode if a spark sets it off or the space is too small.

@@SillyReviews if you put a fogger in a cabinet and close the cabinets, the canister could explode. There is a legitimate reason why the EPA recommends foggers to be used 6 feet from ignition sources and some labels recommended cutting the power altogether before use.
