Asimo always been beating really good players with his ryu. Not even his first time taking a set off acola it’s just the first time he has went to a big tournament and beat everyone lol. But yeah he definitely seemed just really understood all the matchups and he definitely has improved doing the slingshot tech.

4:53 I feel like in ult a lot of the really good characters stick to their obvious broken stuff, which creates a lot of “seen that before” gameplay. It definitely does have moments where character expression is there though

I think theres a lot of characters that have very little skill expression, and ironically its usually the mid or low tier characters. Main problem is just that everyone has seen what the character can do and its almost impossible to create anything new with the character. Best example is captain falcon
