So, a quick rundown of race bike types, if you're interested, Alex Superbike is the top class of the World Superbike championship, and is the top class for production bikes in the world, these bikes have 1000cc engines. Supersport is the feeder class for Superbikes, and those have 600cc engines (usually, they seem to be getting bigger for some reason). Endurance bikes are the same bikes that race in World superbike, but they have to keep their headlights and taillights because they race in 8, 12, and 24 hour endurance races, the most significant of which (that I know of) is the Suzuka 8 hour. Most significant in Europe is the Bol d'Or

Akamatsu_Ace Actually, back in the day, 500cc GP riders loved racing there. It was a way to show versatility and fight in pairs against other very good riders. Akamatsu_Ace Vermuelen was fairly good, got Suzuki their 1st win in like 6 years. Xaus was not very good because he was too big for racetrack motorcycling. I'm sure he could've been awesome in enduro being so damn tall! Also, remember how good MotoGp riders like Checa, Biaggi and Melandri have been in WSBK. Checa was the last MotoGp rider to win the Suzuka 8h until Espargaró and Smith showed up

I think I know why the bike was so controllable. Basically, I think when you start a race TCS is automatically on so you have to turn it off. I don't think you can turn it off in race settings

Not bad. You got some cornering to learn still. Though to be fair, it is really hard getting the feel and timing for it right on bikes. So much easier on a real bike. You just countersteer, the bike falls over and you start taking the turn :)

7:11 I don't think all of the game companies go out and LASER-scan the track individually. If I'm not mistaken, they just all buy the same LASER-scan data from a single scan. I could easily be wrong, though. Someone please correct me if this is not the case.

Most companies laser scan the circuit themselves. Milestone for example laserscanned MotoGP ciruits in 2012 and we use the same model every year, apart from newer tracks

Downloaded the PC version on my laptop, can't get it to recognise my graphics card. Playing on HD 4000 ruins the gameplay, but if your graphics card is officially supported and you use a controller I think it'd be a really good game

It wouldn't be the first time. One of my favorite game franchises, the Fatal Frame games, only ever brought the first three games stateside. Fatal Frame 4 never left Japan, the second game's remake never left Europe, and V only got a physical release in Japan and a digital release in Europe.

Well first I'm not American, and second you are generalizing. I loved the first ride game and their MotoGP series too. However they did this with the first ride game too. They released it only in Europe and Africa and only on PS4 and PC. I really would like to know why they do this, because to me it makes no sense right now.
