Good to see you riding, mate. Had a tough few months, but today despite rather nippy weather I am taking my bike out for a spin. Just waiting for a sun to rise as it's 4am in 🇬🇧 need of some two wheels therapy. Oh man, I do. I have to celebrate 7 years of booze this month. I don't know why I am still counting lol 😆 well I think I know why, but I'm afraid to say it loud.. God bless you 🙏

Love this video with the nice easy saunter through town and hills in the background. At 4:57, "I'm just not really in the mood for crowds today" perfectly sums up my goals when riding! When I lived in Southern California I often rode around Palomar, Julian, the Anza-Borrego desert, and surrounding areas but always went on weekday mornings when I could. It made the ride much more enjoyable.

It's nice to see your lakes getting more full. Here in CA we also have good full reservoirs and tons of remaining snowpack due to those crazy atmospheric rivers (bomb cyclones) that dumped so much water back in Dec and Jan. It sucks to realize that even with all the water, we're still in a drought. We'd need several years of repeated performance to be back to "normal" again. But it sure is nice to see the man made lakes getting closer to capacity! I can't friggin wait for fishing season.

As always, a great ridealong! Hope I can get to that part of the country for some exploring! And I'm with you, TC. Even in the quasi-post-pandemic world, I still can't go anywhere that's too "peopley". The density is uncomfortable. That crêperie was just my speed! Can't wait to check it out. Ride safe. Ride hard.
