[RIDE ALONG] - Engine 421 | Forest Grove Fire & Rescue

Ride Along with firefighters from Forest Grove's Fire Engine 421! The unit responded from its quarters on Ash Street in the center of the town to a nursing home in the eastern parts of the village. Forest Grove is located west of Portland, Oregon and has about 21,000 inhabitants. Every day a crew of a minimum of four firefighters is on duty, if there are two or more calls at the same time volunteer firefighters may be called in via pager. In 2018, when this video was made, the department ran about 3,911 calls of which 68.64% were medical related. In total these are about 10,7 calls per day.
Thanks to the super friendly firefighters on this day in July 2018 even if they were sometimes not aware, that I was already recording (so I had to cut out some audio :D)! But still - one of my favorite days during my trip through the US.

Yes! We need some UK ride alongs! I've been looking for UK fire brigade ride along but very few and far between, or very old.
