[RIDE ALONG] - FOREST GROVE FIRE | Engine 421 + Brush 418 & Cornelius Fire Engine 813 responding!

Forest Grove Fire Rescue responding with Engine 421 & Brush 418 to a medical call in a remote are of their fire district. In summer time, Forest Grove firefighters sometimes also take their brush rig in addition to the Engine to medicals in areas with no hydrants in case they are dispatched to a wildland fire or if they may discover a fire themselves. Cornelius Fire Engine 813 responds to another medical emergency in Forest Grove. Both departments, Forest Grove Fire Rescue & Cornelius Fire Department have an agreement to help each other out on calls. For this purpose, equipment was also jointly procured and personnel jointly trained. Finally, you can see a ride-along with Engine 421 to another medical call. On this one, I was in the city center with the crew of the engine on a small street festival, so the response can not to be seen from the station.
Alarm für die Feuerwehr von Forest Grove! Mit Engine 421 (Löschgruppenfahrzeug) und Brush 418 (Waldbrand-TLF) geht es zu einem medizinischen Einsatz in einem abgelegenen und ländlichen Teil des Einsatzgebiets. Im Sommer fahren die Feuerwehrleute von Forest Grove manchmal zusätzlich zum Löschfahrzeug auch mit einem ihrer zwei Waldbrand-TLF zu medizinischen Einsätzen in Gebieten ohne Hydranten, falls sie gleichzeitig zu einem Waldbrand gerufen werden oder selbst ein Feuer entdecken (in den Sommermonaten kommt dies durchaus häufig vor). Cornelius Fire Engine 813 fährt zu einem anderen medizinischen Notfall in Forest Grove. Beide Feuerwehren, Forest Grove Fire Rescue und Cornelius Fire Department, haben eine Vereinbarung, sich gegenseitig bei Einsätzen auszuhelfen. Zu diesem Zweck wurde auch die Ausrüstung gemeinsam beschafft und das Personal gemeinsam geschult. Als Abschluss seht ihr noch eine Mitfahrt mit Engine 421 zu einem weiteren medizinischen Einsatz. Hier war ich gerade mit der Crew in der Innenstadt auf einem Straßenfest, daher ist die Alarmfahrt nicht von der Wache aus zu sehen.
