general rule of thumb that we used to use , a twelve degree split between the air at the return and the air coming out of a vent near the air handler was a good sign and those little thermometers are great for that

What up Skid? Good to see a new video. I havent posted anyrhing new in several months as well. I moved & I'm at a brand new property now. Been dealing with construction mistakes & warranty repairs which has been crazy. You would think getting a brand new property wouldn't be as much work, but I'm more busy here, compared to my 9 year old property. I'm by myself as well & been on call for 5 months straight. Finally able to hire a tech to help me out so things should get better & I can start making some new content. Be safe out there & hopefully them Seminoles get their act together for your sake! 🛠️👍

Good to hear from you , Rich! My mentor always said, "5 to 10 year old properties are the sweet spot." Anything new or past 10 years is a lot of work.

@@LexVance Yeah I definitely agree. My last property in Charleston was 3 years old when I arrived & only had 1 Supervisor since day 1 & he knew what he was doing so everything was well maintained. I was there for the last 6 years but it sold in March. The new company is terrible, they do 20% off rent which I had 50% off with my company & they weren't going to compensate me for the difference so I would have been losing money if I stayed. I could have stayed with my former company but the only opening was in Atlanta at a mid rise & I didn't want that so I took this position at a brand new property in North Carolina. We'll see how things go.

You’re a facility engineer. NOT a “maintenance man” nice work! Also you’d think as strict as the EPA is the government would force these manufacturers to make leak free coils, or face, major fines. Like they do everyone else.
