Nice riding on the DR. Me and a buddy did a portion of the Oregon BDR, the sand is no joke especially and whoops made it even more challenging. Beautiful riding, thanks for sharing.

Having not done the southeastern desert sections, I can say that the ORBDR has fantastic scenery and variety of riding.

Nice content. This looks like a trip you did previously?!? I love the Oregon bush country. Didn’t know what I was missing until I did the ORBDR. Fantastic country. As a gent who’s turning 60 this year, I love your attitude and advice. Keep doing what you’re doing sir. ~ GrizzLee

Sharp eye GRIZZLee! Need some new material but winter is interfering. Lot of new subscribers who probably haven’t seen the material so I re-used the raw material.

The electric start only has been a concern with my drz400. I went to the bigger battery this spring so hopefully that helps. I like your jump pack idea too. And maybe camp on top of a hill. Always enjoy you videos.

JR do you have a favorite between the DR650 and the Yamaha WR? I have a DR but considering a WR. I realize that on longer trips out West the DR is probably the better bike. If you had to pick one which would it be? Love your content and keep the adventures coming!
@jrdepew4 күн бұрын
Really a hard one. I would prefer the WR if I was solo and had little or no highway to travel. Lighter bike. If I could only have one I would stick with the DR.

I live in Oregon and I'm really confused with this video. You mentioned BDR sec 5 and started in the Cache Mtn area. You rode SE to Bend and then South to Palina Peak then North to Sunriver and finished on Cache Mtn. Was this video just edited out of order or was that your planned route? Do you still have the Yamaha?
@jrdepew9 күн бұрын
Big Lake, BDR South to Sisters . Hiway to Bend..went southeast over Pine Mountain and south of Paulina camped. Then returning north around Paulina into Sunriver on to BDR , then pavement back to Big Lake , a big loop. Then a day ride up Cache mountain and back to Big Lake.
