Shawn Cheshire lost her sight completely following a traumatic brain injury while serving as a paramedic. Despite being blind, Shawn is racing the Ride the Divide mountain bike race on a single-person mountain bike. Ride the Divide begins in Banff, Alberta and finishes on the US-Mexico border in Antelope Wells, New Mexico. To navigate the 2700 mile mountain bike course, Shawn and her guides (Jesse Crandall and Scott Drum) with Sena M1 EVO smart helmets.
