I have made that ride from Red Lodge into Cook City on my Honda Gold Wing Aspencade. That is one of the most beautiful rides in the country. Spent the night in Cook City and went on into Yellowstone the next morning.

Rode this ride June 23 2012 it was one of the most awesome rides I have done and then stayed in Red Lodge, I could live there for sure. Just remember the shadows next to the snow bank along the road get icy even in June.
