Thanks for the kind wishes, the program I used is Sony Vegas 13. It's pretty easy to pick up. Don't expect to make AMV's anytime soon however.

Well depending on how imaginative you are, there will probably be certain transitions and whatnot that you can't do. It's mostly just playing around with the program and learning about it.
