Next time if you want to camp, as you go down the Tioga Pass you'll see a valley with a large meadow and stream running though it. At the almost bottom of the pass, there is a turn-off on the right that will take you to campgrounds that are first come. There is Aspen, Lower Lee Vining, Upper Lee Vining and at the very end of the dirt road is Big bend that takes State or fed reservations. The stream in the valley is stocked with various hatchery trout and a lot of native trout/spawned hatchery trout. Also, 10miles north of Lee Vining is the Turn -off to Lundy Lake and if you like hiking, go up the trail behind the dam that begins at the dam parking lot. and it takes you up to spectacular views and old mining artifacts. If you continue on Lundy Lake road, go past the General store to the trail head. Beaver ponds with brown and brook trout and hike farther and they trail go to various water falls. We've camped Aspen Grove campground for 35+ years. BTW... what does a 25lb tank of R410a go for now a days? I'm retired/disabled so pretty much an arm chair contractor these days...
