I love the creative originality of this ride. I think I’d love it.

This is absolutely amazing. It’s seems less like a theme park ride and more like modern art. It smacks of someone like Dali or the Dadaists. I hope this could somehow not be a one-off ride and instead be the start of a trend. Get some real character back in amusement parks, not just brand names and IPs.

I'm looking forward to Meow Wolf and Factory Obscura who joined up with Flaming Lips Band they are building the Oklahoma establishment called "Mix Tape". They just opened up the first phase which is interesting the second phase opens up in September.

This ride is fucking wild oh my god. I might actually get to ride this soon, as well.

Hopefully if and when elitches relocates they expand this ride due to the success it has had in the opening days, live 20 min from their and can’t wait to check it out

That guy at 9:04 sounds like General Sweet Mayhem from The Lego Movie 2 and Mewtwo from the Detective Pikachu movie. In fact, his voice sounds scary! 😨

This also sounds like what would happen if Burning Man was a ride. Junkyard art, neon colors, lights and drugs, lots and lots of drugs.

Looks very cool. They should add this to any other parks that don't have a dark ride, like Kentucky Kingdom.

For those of you who are wondering, Elitch's isn't going anywhere for a long time. At least, that's what I was told.

It is eventually to make room for land development. But it will simply be moved like it was before.

is this park closing down?
@Cccoast5 жыл бұрын
Yup! Denver is becoming more and more snoring
@ThoosieJP5 жыл бұрын
The park is relocating because they have no expanding room and the city doesn't really want the park at that location anymore.
@Cccoast5 жыл бұрын
Joseph Parodi last time I checked, there’s no plan to relocate. They already relocated once before.
@mitchellries2565 жыл бұрын
We don't know yet. They haven't announced a closing date or anything, but they did announce an expansion of the nearby road, and unless the park makes a deal with the city, it may close. If it does, hopefully they'll relocate it to another location. After all, they relocated it once, so they're perfectly capable of doing it again if they're motivated enough to do it.

There is new development in Denver that is threatening the park. Last I heard, there were rumors of them relocating to a plot of land near the airport within the next few years.
@scrambled59485 жыл бұрын
Sure, this ride is weird but at least it has something resembling a story. If you want a weird ride that has no explanation whatsoever, look up nights in White satins that was at the sadly departed hard rock park
@StamfordBridge5 жыл бұрын
What do you make of this addition in light of the rumors of the park’s closing?
@IntheLoopPodcast5 жыл бұрын
The park is closing in the next few years, but hasn't been announced when.
@StamfordBridge5 жыл бұрын
In the Loop It’s odd to spend money on an elaborate new dark ride if that’s the case, isn’t it? I’m guessing that Meow Wolf sees it as a way to install a very public art exhibit that spreads their name in Denver?
@IntheLoopPodcast5 жыл бұрын
That's what we thought too
@ChadeoYT5 жыл бұрын
They would never completely close but instead relocate and keep the name Elitch Gardens, it's a Denver staple.
@AmusementLabs5 жыл бұрын
@@IntheLoopPodcast Well didn't they (MW) say they were opening a new location in Denver or nearby? Also, lots of their exhibits are made from literal garbage, stuff picked from a junkyard. I don't imagine this costed very much.
