Great review, across the board I've been looking at the R-6 , 636 and this model. I have now test ridden all 3 and the Daytona 675r is easily in front for my needs, practicality, power and great look.

i don't believe in love at first sight... but when i walked around the corner of the showroom and saw this beauty sitting there i knew it was a match made to be. i NEED to pick one of these up ASAP

I can not get over good this bike looks! That triple sound though!
@spacep0d10 жыл бұрын
Great review! I just reviewed this bike myself, having only wondered about it before, and it shot straight to the top of my great bikes list. The 636 is a close-second but I didn't get to ride that as much. Nice review, Triple. Clear and concise, and it looks like you really liked it. You guys get to try bikes straight from the dealer? Lucky! Can't do that here in Cali in most cases. :) If I could rent the 675R I'd probably rent one just to ride it again.

We cant usually unless a legit test ride, Triumph dealers locally have offered me use of some models to ride and review, Speed triple and Street triple are online already Tiger "sport" review online this weekend.
@spacep0d10 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I suppose it's easier to wring-out a friend's bike that's broken-in than a brand new dealer bike. Either way comes with issues. Bike trades are fun though.

Mike Humphries It's a triple rather than the usual 4. Courtesy of Triumph! :)

Great review Buddy. That engine whine sounds like it might get on your nerves after a while commuting, did you notice it much while you where riding? Sounds great when you open it up though, especially for a 'stock' bike. RSMF - RI Mr B
@TheTripleTwister10 жыл бұрын
I think the whine would annoy me personally. Its evident unless really opening it up.

If I'm not mistaken it is not the same engine as in the street triple. The daytona 2012 had the same engine as the street but not the 2013 daytona. Unless they changed the street triple engine for 2014. Nice review though. subbed :)
@TheTripleTwister10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the sub I shall need to check if its the same ;)

That colour's growing on me :3 How loud would you say the Arrow is in person?
@TheTripleTwister10 жыл бұрын
Not, its quite high in tone. The lack of bass or depth makes it seem quieter but opened up on the road it has a true race bike sound just nowhere near moto gp volume. A debaffled race can on it would be immense though.
@HamSpamJamLamb10 жыл бұрын
I saw on another review video the arrow sounded much deeper, but I do like the idea of a race can :P
