Hey thanks for those replies! When I wrote this, I had been struggling to find an internship I was confident enough with doing (I'm getting my master's in mental health counseling) to a point where my dad showed some concern and kind of broke me out of my shell with some stern but loving criticism about my strengths and weaknesses. Thanks to a lot of support from my loved ones, I was able to combat my fears and now I'm in the process of getting internship hours at a substance abuse treatment facility (where I even run group sessions and stuff!) If I had told the person who wrote this comment at the time I'd be doing this, he'd probably tell current me I was nuts lol. TL/DR: I'm doing much better now!
