@@gcn thanks and no, not an Ebike. 😄Just a 62yrd old Dad trying to keep up with his 24yr old son, who loves hills, on our 2024 Giant Revolt Pro O's. You're spot on about the event, it was amazing! Looking forward to going back in 2025 and improving on our results. My son finished 6th in 19-29's (his first ever gravel race) and me, 4th in 60-69's. Thanks again for showcasing an amazing event that'll only go from strength to strength. Cheers. 😊

As someone who’s been an F1 fan since 1994 and has followed Tiff Cromwell since her appearance in that very video that you posted as B-roll; it has been SO great to watch those two come together and blossom into this international sporting power couple. I have always been an absolute amateur at both sports, but I have a motorsports/road racing background. Now turned cyclist as race tracks in the area shut down one after the other. There is a surprising amount of similarities between the 2 sports. Thanks for this video. Brought two of my worlds together.

VB has embraced a lot more of life since the switch to Sauber. Results have been iffy at best but his character has come shining though ( the creek photo he gave to LH 😂). Interesting interviews; I have been a bicyclist my whole life. Since the introduction of disc brakes to road bicycles, I have enjoyed riding my gravel bicycle as an all round performer. When I go on long road rides, I enjoy the longer lines of an endurance bicycle.

Great show and congrats to all the success of your accomplished guests. I am also both a fan of bike racing and F1. A couple of comments... Tiffany's position on the bike is crazy aggressive. Who watching doesn't wish they could ride that position and not get injured. Of course she is one of the fittest human's on the planet with unreal power to weight. Valtteri looks to be uber fit and no doubt can fly on the bike. F1 drivers are outer worldly. Valtteri is the type of man who could do anything if he put his mind to it because someone who can compete in F1 at the highest level is very special. His intensity and keen mind project through the camera lens. Thanks Alex. Great content. Cheers from America. We will be watching and rooting you on.

@gcn what if you started a segment where you interview normal riders doing great things. For example: there is a guy named Martie who owns Evergreen Bike Shop here in Colorado. He runs a MTB club for teens but also rides in the World scene and I think, helps run coloado's Triple Bypass road race. He is the epitome of a gruff cyclist, but he cares deeply about young people. When I was doing my writing/English Lit degree, I took several classes on magazine writing. Everybody loves a non-fiction, slice of life or an underdog story that they can relate to. We love to hear about the unsung heros. I think you will stop hearing so much complaining if you bring some of your stories down to the level of ordinary people. Follow them around. Get to know them. See what their ordinary life is like, and put out a 30 min episode every week.

As a cyclist and frantic (Finnish) F1-follower this one was a surprice! I’ve been wondering for some time which one Valtteri is nowadays more keen on; cycling or F1 and seems to be cycling.. LoL! A Kangaroo is a Kangaroo a Joey Kangaroo is a baby or young one who lives in his mothers pouch. The stocky more grey ish roos are usually Euro's. You probably would not see a Big Red in that area of SA more the brown ones who love living in our vineyards these days when not in the bush.

I came in one spot ahead of Valtteri on his first BWR Kansas on the the short distance. A year later, he destroyed the field, coming in 13 minutes ahead of the second place rider and more than 20 minutes ahead of me. He had a friendly Finnish fanbase at the finish for his third BWR, which he also rode with Tiffany. Bummed we won't see them here in the future.
