8mph run for 2 minutes i've gone from 165bpm down to 135bpm. over 6 months, I can only assume my vo2max and LT are improved. The effort is way easier now than it once was, im thinking its time to up the speed, though my joints aren't so sure.

Question: What would be the guidance if I was to repeat this type of block but the only 'bike' work would be on an assault bike? (1) Is there a recommended format to follow? (2) Do I just use the zone 2 BPM threshold I currently have on my device (Fitbit / Whoop/ etc.)? (3) Is there an equivalent 'at home' Ramp test I can do using HR etc as a way to calculate my baseline on V02? Appreciated in advance any help.

40kmh tail wind ride only is very achievable and 33 kmh on an out and back circular.

I'm glad I found another channel to watch. The music, weird camera angles, too many people, and instructor are all annoying.

When developing your Zone 2, will you be able to handle more uphills without a strong HR spike?

So what is the .883?
@stephenturkLA16 минут бұрын
It's an empirical factor that Greg LeMond and his coach came up with about 40 years ago. It sounds very precise, at three significant figures, but in practice it's best to think of it as the mean of a distribution - the optimum saddle height for you may be a little higher or lower than the formula suggests.

My favorite way to set up a bike is Bike Fast Fit. It's an inexpensive app that helps measure, adjust, and refine your position on the bike. Highly recommended.

I run 55mm tires (Schwalbe Big Apple) with 2.5 bar on my trekking bike. I don't know if they're slower, but definitely the most comfortable tires I ever had.

I alwas struggled with perfect saddle height but turns out it was a crank length issue. Im 172cm and i used ro ride 170mm cranks and 167.5 now im on 160mm and its no longer an issue no need to perfect the saddle height as now its more forgiving. Its too bad iys wo expensive to play around with crank lengths.

I use the heel method. Than after admiring how cool my bike looks with a high saddle I go for a ride, and lower it by 1cm. I also know that if I stand over the top tube the nose of the saddle touching around my coccyx I’m almost right.
