Here’s the bang: Most Valley Metro buses operated by Transdev (Tempe) use semi permanent white on metallic stickers to hide any imperfections.

I don't think he was, he was another bus fan though. This was on a trip with the 2021 fall Motor Bus Society convention in Phoenix.
