Ride Warpig Snowboard 2025 Preview

Hi, i am 6, 205, boot size 10 US, riding Libtech Rasman 159cm mostly on slopes sometimes powder if conditions allow here in Central Europe, looking for someting new and playfull. Shall i go for Warpig 151 or 154? What would be the advise pls?

When you're on the lift your board says "Warpig - M" which is the medium size which is actually a 151. Goes to show how fun & competent short wides can be. I'm 6'4" 175 & have ridden the 154 & it was PLENTY of board.

Yeah I would have never thought to ride a short board, especially in powder. Turns out the technology really works well. 6'4 on a 154 I bet that turned some heads!! Thanks for the comment. -Mike

@@MountainWeeklyNewsyour actually on a 151 cm hahahaha. Thats what he was trying to say. When ur on the ski lift you can see a M for “medium” but the medium war pig is a 151 cm

I am currently riding a salomon super 8 166. Love the back seat camber with rocker nose. I am looking for a new board and come across the superpig and the ravine select / pro. Looks like they dropped the select. I ride pnw mostly chasing trees / powder and off the beaten path with my 2 sons and spend some time on the groomers with my daughters. I am 6'2 250 plus. Super 8 is a good board but i want somthing that is better in the trees where i need quick turns. Based on your experice whats your opinion?

Hell yeah i cant wait been in gym for 4 months improving balance and strength as well cardio. Im 34 last year was first year on board in 15 years. Got a used board and fought not to catch edgegole way down caught boot both sized was horrible cant wait get pig out and see what happens when my toes arent hanging off 2 inches lol

ooh two epic boards. The K2 will be a little bit more nimble and overall board top to bottom, where as the Warpig does best on powder days, like really deep days. Let me know what you end up getting. Where you riding? -Mike

I’m 210-215lbs, 6’0”. Looking to get this board for powder and trees. I’m thinking size L (154), but size M (151) sounds good for quick turns in the trees. What do you think?

I would go with the 154 if you are riding in really deep stuff. Otherwise the 151 would also be a blast to rip around in trees especially as you mentioned.

@@velocityscaven7004 yes. People can rode these switch but with the shape it wants to go straight. Fall line and stay above the snow. I did land a BS 180 on this so its doable just be mindful of the very very very short length. Thanks for the question!

@ of course I also have another question as I am looking to buy a new snowboard, I was looking at the ride kink 2025 and I am 6 foot 2, what size should I get the board in (I want to use it for free ride)

Hey thanks for checking out the review. Here are the specs mtnweekly.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Warpig.png this is a 80% camber snowboard if not more. A little early rise in the nose. Tail is pretty flat. Might also have a small rise. But board is mostly camber where it matters. -Mike

Rocker and Zero camber or flat camber...... which means no camber...
