Is a Fully Loaded K1600GT any good in the twisties?
This video is a 10 minute unedited clip from our Ireland tour in May 2022 which is currently in production, should be live mid-March so please look out for it as it's a belter!
This video had to be a stand alone to showcase this amazing road, a cinematic clip will defo be in the tour video. we were heading for our accommodation in Killarney but had no idea how good this road was going to be….
First its fast and curvy then twisty, technical a challenging road for any bike, especially fully loaded tourers.

This was probably the most exhilarating ride I've ever done as we were defo going for it and were probably on the edge of speed/grip for loaded tourers.
we were buzzing at the end and didn't stop talking about it all night.
I've used all available footage on a split screen format to try and share the experience of riding through Killarney National Park with a view over to MacGillycuddy's Reeks.
Best to view on a PC or tablet as there is a lot going on visually for a small screen.
Set quality to highest for best results. 4K
You may have to watch 3 times to get full experience 😂

glad you enjoyed it. a left turn at that cafe would bring you to gap of dunloe narrow but great views. Hope the rest of your trip was dry.

Oh how good was that 😊 I'd have loved to be pillion on that, quick enough to enjoy the road but slow enugh to be safe and marvel at the awesome scenery, and the split screen function was genius, mega !!

Thanks David, the camera on the side of my helmet is a pretty good representation of what a pillion would see. ( not the sounds, smell or buzz though) Split screen is a good use of all footage, too good not to use it.

Great edit, I love how approaching cars jump from bottom left view into bottom right. You could spend a day filming on that road, drones the lot. Shame we hit it at the time we did. Nice and empty though.
