Just bought. two of the LMT'D V2'a for. myself and my wife. New to ebike world. LOVE THEM!! Total quality and had the lpocal bike shop assemble them. Adds to the Black Friday price but so worth it. This is an amazing bike with the butter smooth intuitive torque sensor...it is amazingly like riding a regular bike. Pedal and get the. workout and exercise you want and the torque sensor just seamlessly adds just the right amount of assist. You're crazy not to get on. Happy Thnxgiving to all

That’s awesome to hear! I totally agree about the smooth ride... and the price, even better! The bike shop assembly is a great way to make sure everything is perfect.

The Lmtd is the perfect bike in my book. You get a torque sensor and you're not going to find a better price for something this lightweight and still has a throttle.

I agree, it’s a great value for the money!

Yes, brands really need to work on the weight!

The LMT’d has always been amongst the lightest for its category and performance specs. To get lighter, you’d have to make the frame from costlier materials like carbon fiber or titanium. Even then, it’d probably only drop by 5-8 pounds and cost at least another $1000-1500. To remove more weight, you’d have to drop useful features like the suspension fork and fenders, use narrower tires and rims, a weaker motor (40-60Nm vs 90Nm of torque) and a smaller battery, and you’d get it to around 40lbs. For instance, the Propella 7S is 38lbs. It uses 700x30 tires, a 35Nm motor, a cadence sensor, 36v 355Wh battery, rigid fork, cable-pull disc brakes, no stock fenders or lights etc, and is fixed to class 1. It’s a lightweight short-range commuter designed for flat terrain and smooth surfaces. When you add fenders, as all commuters should have, you’re probably at 40lbs. I think the LMT’d is great as it is, especially at its BF/CM sales price. Even the list price of the V2 is less than the original, which didn’t have included fenders or lights.
