A joy to watch on a big screen tv up in the northern rivers NSW waiting for the rain to stop

Rob love your videos and love the fact that you enjoy cycling here in Victoria. I’m sure there are equally lovely gravel rides in NSW too. The Porepunkah ride sounded like a brute with the mini-boulders. I’ve been recuperating from a double knee replacement in August this year and watching yours and others vids helped me through. Just purchased a Merida Silex gravel and enjoying it very much. Cheers mate Gerard

While on the trails I remember seeing only two moto riders... (who checked in on me, asking if I was okay after the puncture). That was it. Otherwise, yep: all alone for the ride. Wonderful. - Rob

Nice video thanks - been over Tawonga Gap numerous times, but never to Mt Beauty via gravel. Nudging 80 yrs, a bit late!

I have a suspension stem and suspension seatpost on my gravel bike. They help take the sting out of those rough descents.

Looks excellent. I’ll be adding that to the list

Great content. Thank you. Have done a few bike packing trips up there. Agree descending is tougher than going up. Lower tyre pressure helps a bit. Still rough though. Echo some of your comments about love of cycling, the Australian bush plus less traffic.

The loops around the King valley are more mild than the hard packed trails around beechworth

Some tidy and trusting balancing of the bike on the river lol....is it me thinking people somehow 'lock' the pedal from moving so it can be balanced easier?

Let's just say that I've leaned many a bike in all manner of ways for over 30 years... mainly for the purposes of taking photos / videos. And I know a few tricks. I've also had some 'incidents' that have... well, never really harmed a bike, while also providing me good insight into avoiding errors. Etc. - Rob
