Focus on your hips hinging back so they are definitely over your ankle and you could use a neck strap or gently lean on the base of their neck to help with balance

And still don’t hold onto the neck too you have to have hands up and away from the neck!

I do hunters so i have to basically be almost lying down on the horses neck and have my arms really far up there neck, any tips for doing that? My trainer gets mad cause i don't do it far enough and says im not even 2 pointing 😢

Not sure what two point is it hunters or what you should or shouldn’t do but it sounds like you’re supposed to have your hands and knees contacting the hose to do a “two point” but youre supposed to have your hands low down on the neck to balance your weight in your heels more and not to squeeze with your knees. How are you not doing it? And how are you supposed to do it?

@@ffrreeddyy123456 if you look at my pfp that's 2 point, its an older picture so not the best but you should be leaning forward and giving release to the horse when jumping even if its a small jump. Any one who jumps does it and has to. Im much better at my release now and 2 point. I wasnt giving a release before and barely leaning forward even tho i thought I was, thats what she ment by it wasnt 2 pointing. And as a hunter i should be really leaning forward and have my arms way up their neck. Jumpers are a little diffrent and xc riders
