Tyre siping..great addition to the grip on tyre surface. Helps a lot on braking. It's siping not sipping, like typing...not tipping. I'm using Michelin Road 6GT at present on my FJR1300. Excellent tyre so far.

I like a heavier rain than what you are riding in in that video . I like a slightly heavier rain that will wash off debris that can make the road more slick than just a wet road like petroleum deposits mud etc . Nice video . Tired ste my favorite videos . Haven’t watched one a video of you or Toby in a long time . Had to actually take a second job for the first time in my 60 years as things are so much more expensive on my side of our pond we have between us .

Avon are the best tyres ive experienced on my bikes. I've had the Sprints and the Trail riders, extremely confident tyres, very grippy..

I'm a big fan of Avon tyres and I was using Spirit ST on my Honda, I achieved 9000 miles out of them. But the front did develop a 'step' just off the centre line. In a similar fashion that the old Bridgestone BT021 used to on my RT. 😮

I ride a Gs 1250 which has done 34000 miles I've had the Bridgestones, followed by Michelin road 5s , Dunlop mutants Dunlop trailmax and now Michelin anakees. I ride 2 up all the time and the tyres all seem to last about the same mileage approx 5000 rear 7000 front, the Bridgestones were destroyed front and rear at 5000, the anakees are the longest wearing probably going to get 8000 from the rear front was used when I got it. I found the mutants to be good but they wear totally flat in the centre on the rear you could take out the back wheel and it would stand up by itself. As said in this test tyres now are more what you are confident with you can't outride them unless you are a nutter. By the way I bought the mutants after your review on the blood bike.
