Best investment I ever made is when I purchased the Ride Like a Pro and Surviving the Mean Streets video's a couple of months ago. After watching the video's I went to the local community college parking lot and practiced the techniques. I've been riding for 54 years, and I now know I have a few things I can still learn about handling a motorcycle and staying safe. I live in Massachusetts so the bike's are stored until spring, but looking forward to practicing again in a few months. Thanks Jerry! 👍

Great video and descriptions of the mistakes and the fixable habits. The first time I tried a basic obstacle riding course set up by the CMA at our church, I was humbled, embarrassed, and shocked at my lack of real skill. Been riding a bike since I was 11, and here I learned I had terrible skills. Besides riding better, these skills will save your life! Thank you

Wish I had more time/ money to take a course like this but I’ll usually use an hour or so a week to learn or better my skills on my motorcycle. Excellent video, thank you Motor man. I purchase your videos about 5 months ago and instantly became a better rider. The Iowa class uses the same techniques and exercises and the instructors are highly experienced at teaching those techniques and exercises. If the class was too advanced for you, consider going back to a beginner class and getting a good handle on the basics. Since you already have a motorcycle license, there will be no pressure and you'll probably learn more of the basics.

I’m a street rider. I’m a commuter (used to go 60 miles a day), I’ve got over 100k miles on the road and I hit corners like a bat outta hell (I scrape pegs regularly) Then I took a dirt bike course, mostly to try it out on an actual dirt bike, I’ve ridden off-road with street bikes and I felt a little uncomfortable, but I figured it was just because I had street tires. No. It’s like the mirror opposite for street riding (prime example, in the embankment, you throw your weight towards the lugs (the bumpy parts of your knobby tires), on the street, you put your weight into keeping the bike into the lean). All day, the instructor kept telling me I could do it my way, but I was going to be exhausted… he was not wrong). Trying to reprogram those instincts is actually really hard. X-/ I learned more in six hours than the previous six years. Nothing wrong with investing in your skills as a rider!

If you can whip a u-turn in 18ft or less without duck walking the bike and while leaning the bike to the pegs, get the bagger. If not, get my Ride Like a Pro Experience video (ridelikeapro.com) and practice what's shown until you can.
