I enjoy these types of how to videos. I'm not terribly mechanically inclined so watching this gives me confidence. Thanks, Warro. 😊

Warro, that new color is going to look awesome! I wish I had the time, patience and skill to pull that off. I am glad to see you are taking the plastics off. Good for you taking control of the look and making it your own. Do you thik the nose piece would also look nice in Blue vs the black? Cheers mate. Looking forward to seeing the next video. KTTT! 🛵

i will give it some thought. had plans to do it gloss black but i will think this over further

Cool tear down tutorial. Your shared tips are great. With the mean looking front end and bold lines I think the bike would look cool in a tactical desert tan but with a glossy finish. It would go well with the black and your decals and badges. Another cool color would be like your RE bike color.

thatys just a stray hanging about. i made the mistake of feeding them and that turncoat bought back the whole flock...lol i'd have 20 of the to feed now plus the 15 galahs and 20 or more top knot pigeons and half a dozen rainbow parrots and not forgetting the 7 magpies plus they all eat together too. hard to believe but those small rainbow parrots control the feed. they are nasty little chaps...lol

@@ridewithwarro it's those pink and grey galahs that scare the crap out of me they'll chew your house down. Started chewing the timber cover strip's so I had to dangle shinny Christmas decorations off the house to scare them off. Christmas all year round at our place. Of course there was always the 12 gauge but they frown upon that now days ha ha.

G'day Warro, l have never seen a Scooter pulled down and just watching you getting it ready to paint is a lot different than popping of the tank and side covers and preparing for painting on the bench, part 2 should be good, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

Personally I wouldn’t of bothered with a re-spray, at the end of the days its only a scooter, not some high end sports bike, generally bikes are only re-sprayed to hide damage etc. either way, interested to see how you go, may need to do a re-spay on my one if end up dropping it :(

@@ridewithwarro I almost purchased the same coloured scooter over the Dark Petrol, the dealer ordered in one of each colour so I could compare on arrival and make the final choice. I thought the silver/white colour would be a safer colour, ie. more visible on the road at night. In the end said stuff if will go with the dark petrol as most of my riding gear including my helmets are light colours.

Great video warro, and I got an xmax300 on the strength of one of your videos. But jeesus, you have too much time on your hands, you do so much pissing about with your bikes 🤣🤣.That said, I'm thinking of getting some decals on mine from Aliexpress...some of them look very tempting to stick on.

these are pretty good scooters for the money. maybe the tmax would be the top gun...lol but so too is the price. prior to starting this partial strip down i pulled the screen totally after some mentioned it to me and took it for a run. after the ride i thought it was the closest experience of riding an outright naked motorcycle ive ever experienced on a scooter. yeah got a bit of spare time so i look to see what damage i can cause...lol
@user-ck6kq8zl2i Жыл бұрын
@@ridewithwarro Yeah I did the same. I took the screen off and tried it out without it. Then I got a sports screen instead of the big one that it comes with. Bit more wind blast to the chest but less buffeting around the helmet, plus it looks a lot better. So I've kept it on.

My guess is 1 of 3 colours, yellow, red or white. Going off what you’ve painted your car. Most unlikely white… due to current colour.

Sure is a good deal of work just to get it ready to paint. I’ve always been told that prep is the most important part. Me, I would already have a mess on my hands. JW don’t paint!
@ridewithwarro Жыл бұрын
yeah this part is easy. its cleaning up the panel and masking it up where the real work starts. even though a bike is pretty small compared to a car-still quite a bit of more fiddley detail work
