A very generous review there, Mark, and thanks for getting on to this one so quickly. Moorland EDC has a more brutally honest appraisal, which basically reports this as a useless yet expensive POS! I love my Ridge waaaaaay more than I thought I would, but this seems totally unnecessary. I wonder what they were smoking in the development meeting!

I might be in the minority here, but this might be the perfect fit for me, as I've been trying to figure out an issue that other wallets and cash straps/rubber bands can't seem to help me with. Yeah the price is a little steep though I agree.

As minimalist that I am. I'm not really a fan with the ridge wallet for their prices. I grew up knowing what a "wallet" looks like but given with the technology and innovation these days it's one thing that I don't want to be different. Those pop-up wallets looks cool. As well as this Ridge Mini but sometimes does the price of being minimalist worth it? With this type of protection a stack of rubberband would be better

I tried a regular Ridge wallet. It seemed great at first, but now it's relegated to holding gift cards. There are better options out there. I really don't understand the lite version.

Well, a dumb wallet made for a brilliant review. The new split-screen feature is a nice touch. "That doesn't happen with elastic by any stretch..." I see what you did there.

In a word: marketing. They have to market the hell out of them through influencer campaigns. Nobody would buy their products on true word of mouth.

I have an elastic band I had someone stitch me for the gym and it does the same thing without looking goofy, this adds useless thickness for no reason at all. This is just weird.

they should have at least put elastic on one of the ends so the cards only slide one way to avoid coming out

Hmm ridge may have put themselves in a corner. Knockoffs are going to be $15. Pass on the ridge lite. Don’t want sacrificial cards and don’t want cards falling out when I take it out of my pocket.

Ridge is way too over priced to be made in china. You can get some amazing knives with aluminum scales made in china from some really good companies for the same price as a ridge wallet that is just two pieces of flat aluminum. They are robbing people

I still haven't figured out why anyone would buy a Ridge product, you can find better craftsmanship at a lower price just about anywhere. One would think cheap manufacturing would transfer to the price, but not at Ridge.

Not gonna watch the video but I’m gonna like it anyways. This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Ridge was so proud of how their metal wallets block NFC so your card can’t be hijacked by somebody just tapping your pocket and then they go and release half the wallet for the same price…
