Wow. Although I didn't plan on crying form this video I am. Bow hunting is my true passion. After watching your elk hunting videos and listening to you on Joe rogan, I went on my first elk hunt last year. The hardest trip of my life. Colorado is hard hunting. Otc is even harder. Although I didn't take an elk. I had one of the best experiences of my life. You inspired me to that. Just like Roy inspired you. RIP Roy Roth, Thanks for inspiring a man who inspired me to follow my dreams and keep hammering!

I feel your pain Cam, my best friend died in a car accident on the way to our hunting ground. Its been almost 17 years ago, i still talk to him every time i head to the tree stand. I saved his bow for his son, who killed his first deer with it a couple years ago, its awesome to be able to carry on our tradition with him. You inspire so many Cam, God bless!

S Schroeder its not horrid at all. We have so much respect for the animals we hunt. It kills us to accidentally wound the animals we hunt. We strive to make sure those animals go as little pain as possible before they expire. But before they are hunted, they live beautiful lives out in the wild imstead of living on a farm.

According to cam Roy was a driving force for him to take up bow hunting. I can only speak for myself but cam has been a driving force for me to take up bow hunting and probably countless others. In that regard the legacy of roy lives on. Heroes get remembered but legends never die.

I Completed my first and probably last Alaskan Sheep hunt this year with my dad while being stationed in Alaska! I told my dad sheep or no sheep this experience just him and I, would be something I will remember the rest of my life! Just got back last week and that was the best/hardest hunting between walking on the marsh to climbing mountains I have done in my life! My feet are still healing! No sheep taken, but memories I have forever!!! Cam, weather you come back to Alaska for another sheep hunt or not! You will always have the memories of the most amazing lands and mountains of the country with your friend! RIP Roy

This one hit me hard, I lost my best friend in 2015, saw him on a Sunday. We were suppose to see each other the next day. Last thing I said to him was I’ll see you tomorrow. He died Monday morning on the way to work. Choked to death. I’ve alwAys admired the brotherhood/sisterhood in the bow hunting world. I hope I get to do it once in my life time.

RIP Roy. Any anti hunter should watch this to find the real meaning of hunting. It’s NOT ab the kill or harvest or whatever word wish to use. Man and Woman have hunted since the beginning of time.
