What is Cam secrets to success? Sun up to sun down, it's all about punching that time clock and putting in the work while the world sleeps. This is how Cam conquers!

When people talk about GOATS its always football and basketball etc. This guy is unbelievable and should be considered above those "top tier" athletes. It blows my mind the amount of focus he has.

Cam says “I’m not an amazing athlete, I’m not the best bow shot in the world.” Then I watch a video of him running 100 miles in 24 hours or another video of him shooting groups with a bow at 180 yards 🤨🤨🤨 This guy truly is incredible!!
@if93655 жыл бұрын
We see Cam because of Joe Rogan so we know his grouping and how far he runs but the facts are and what he is speaking about is that there are millions like him.
@MrChulaFreak5 жыл бұрын
1. I knew about Cam years before Joe Rogan ever had a podcast. And 2. I find it hard to believe that there are MILLIONS of people who can shoot a pie plate with a bow at 180 yards every time they pull the trigger, run 100 miles in under 24 hours, or beat the “Ultra Marathon Man” in his prime. So while there are millions that do similar things that he does, I certainly wouldn’t say that there are millions that could do the combination of things he’s done.
@if93655 жыл бұрын
Yes a slight of an exaggeration on my part, obviously, but my point is that there are a lot like him. Most mountain hunters are physically fit and have their own way of getting ready for the mountains. Running Ultra Marathons are great(not so great for the body) but yes definitely an "atta boy" but you do not need to run ultras to get fit for the mountains so its a bit extreme and all a part of the show. You know Cameron? GREAT! but just as I know many others like him. The fact is not many knew Cameron before Joe Rogan nor was he able to inspire as many people (world wide) before Joe Rogan. He is fortunate to have been put on the world stage via Joe Rogan and as a fellow hunter I am happy to see he has been a positive role model for the life style. I just don't think what he is doing is anything special. Yes he can hit a pie shape target from 180 yards but 99.9% of the time you are not shooting a deer from 180yrds and if you are than you are an unethical hunter and not good enough to get in closer for the shot. The true skill of hunting (especially spot and stalk) is to get in close to the animal not fire hail mary's at it. I have also hunted on television and know that a lot of editing goes on before putting the film together and a lot of the times, behind the scenes, its not as pretty as what is displayed on the final edit(tv). Shot placements etc... I picked up bow hunting about 10 years ago and I was hitting similar targets from similar distances and to be honest that was after the first year or so of practice. I don't think anything needs to be glorified here lol, hes just a hunter who knows Joe Rogan who runs ultras. He also has the sponsors to pay for him to go to these wonderful places to hunt these amazing animals. As he mentions in his video he is thankful for that, as he should be! Its just a bit bizarre how some become the face of hunting through social media when there are a lot like him but again, Joe Rogan - my entire point here lol. A lot of these places they hunt are pre-scouted by the locals...when they get to the location they have a general idea of where the animals will be and what areas to hunt. When you watch the show/film/video they make it as if they have to hike for hours on end , days and days before they see anything. In some cases I am sure this is true but realistically, not usually.

But to your knew hunter and/or outdoors men I can just imagine how he can be perceived a hero or icon if you may. The real hunters are hidden in the Amazon, using little resources (like wooden handmade spears ) running around an extremely dangerous place hunting in bare feet wearing barely any clothes. These tribes is who we should be paying attention to not a glorified hollywood hunter lol. Or the Inuit - going out in that freezing cold with little resources hunting a Polar Bear that is hunting you at the same time. No guide, No GPS, No cell service, no plane ride in and out. Nutta. These are the people I pay attention to ;)

Hey yo Google user. Cam was around loooong before Joe was ever even a hunter. Back when joe was still on fear factor Cam was still hammering. Seems to me Cam is pretty low key most of the time, but people who know of him and what he does has our attention and respect.
