When you manufacture the problems you say you're having with the Dango, then it looks like the least of the 2, I'd be willing to bet that most ppl do not have those problems with it, I bought the ridge right when it came out and it's been in my sock drawer since 2 days after

I have both, I’ve had the Dango longer. IMO the Dango is easier to use day to day, however, it’s most likely because you will get used to the one you use more (kind of like your favorite hoodie). I don’t like getting cards out of the Ridge because it feels like I have to use two hands and take all the cards out to get the one I want, whereas with the Dango I feel I can open the plates easier with one hand and grab the card I want with the other and I think the reason for this is because of its rail around the sides. That rail gives your hand something to grip while you use the notch to push the cards out. With the Ridge I feel like I’m opening the plates with two hands like a book. I agree about size (though they are not that different in size compared to non-minimalist wallets), I agree about style (Dango just looks cooler and I’ve had WAY more comments from people about it), and I agree about card capacity (more than 4-5 cards between the Dango plates gets awkward). The leather card pocket on the Dango is actually two pockets; the one you showed using, but also it makes a second pocket between the leather and the plates. I actually carry three cards in the leather pockets easily. Last point, I understand pointing out the issues with the Dango in putting money in the rubber strap, and putting cards in the leather pocket, but I feel you over exaggerated those issues. It might happen once or twice when you are first using it but then you just get used to how to do it and it’s fine. Both are cool, but I give a bigger edge to the Dango due to versatility and style, and Ridge is overpriced for what you get.

I have two versions of the Dango wallets and have used them for the past 5 years. Very high quality and I tend to have my most used cards in the front on both sides. Used to have 8+ cards (even with the bifold verson) but now I keep 4-5 at best just because it's just less bulky. I've seen a ton of friends who has the Ridge, and they seem to really like them. My only thing about them is the ease of use when pulling out the card that you need.

I'm not saying, but hoping you are adhering to FTC guidelines' prominent disclosures in every relevant post, wherever you post it - and for video-based platforms like TikTok or KZbin, mentioning the disclosure in your video in addition to disclosing in the captions is best. I have used the Dango for 2+ years, I moved to Ridge and would almost say the opposite of what you are saying.

Thanks for the input! It's always interesting to hear how opinions can differ. As for the FTC, yes! I do my best to make sure that happens, which is why the video starts with the disclosure of where the Dango came from, and I do my best to disclose in the same manner that I make claims in. Appreciate the reminder!
