Was running my first 100 at TuscaZoar and was coming up to an aid station. This guy started running with me all the way up. I didn’t know at the time, but it was Arlen. He was going to check on the workers at the aid station. What an amazing, humble, and faithful person. Thanks for sharing his story!

What a great video about a super-talented, humble Christian man. Thank you, Ridge RUNers! Cannot wait to see what Arlen does tomorrow at the 50th Tevis! I’ll be following his progress on the live stream. Best if luck, Arlen!

We had the crew tent next to Arlen’s when he won Javelina. He’s an amazing runner with the best crew I’ve ever seen. So amazing to seem him live his faith without fear.

When Adam Peterman won Western States last year, Adam said that he had been feeling horrible for like 40 miles , "but then I started running with Arlen and we started talking about our dads and hunting and fishing and I started feeling better! He's the nicest guy in the world! " ❤ He'll be in there with Mathieu & Tom Evans for sure!!! So glad he's Christian🙏🏽🎉

Big fans here of Adam and frankly also Adam's and Arlen's Dads - a fishing trip with Larry and John would be legendary. So glad you enjoyed the film!

Got no stories with him as I am just a spectator watching it from far away, but listens to all the podcasts of Arlen & man he seems to be a wonderful person. Great to see his short documentary coming up & hope he wins it.

Dear Gentle Viewers, The Escarpment is only a rugged shortcut from the Shirley Lakes Ski Lift up to the top of a short climb. I know because I named it. It cuts off one switchback, that's all. When you get back on the dirt road, you are then on the road to Emigrant Pass. That's called Emigrant Pass at the top where the Robert Montgomery Watson Monument is located. It is NOT the Escarpment.

As an atheist it's incredibly cringe worthy to hear. He reminds me of the Stepford wives , all glazed perfection and moral condescension, plus that row of simpering mute women .....😒

@@chloevincent535 Arlen and the "row of mute simpering women" are my husband's cousins and are the most legit, honest, and kindhearted people ever. And there's nothing "mute" about those women. 😂
