I just bought this very tool last week. Sorts for the same purpose. I have plaster walls as well, and used this tool to cut out holes to install new receptacles in places I currently don't have any. I only cut one hole, but the tool handled very well. I have a good amount more I have to cut, so I'm hoping this tool keeps on chuggin' along. I purchased the carbide Dremel blades for this. Thankfully they are interchangeable. Also, don't forget to register your tool, or the warranty won't be honored if it were to fail!

Great video. I just got a killer deal at Direct Tools. Bought one for $15.00!!! Got the Rigid 7” grinder for the same price. I needed to see how to use one, because I’ve never owned this type of tool. Looks like a lot of projects could be accomplished with this tool, hence the name “multi tool”!!! 😂😂😂

Can you describe the 4 position head? This sounds like a difference between others. Or are all able to position the tool attached to the side and use it on a side orientation?
@JohnsonVlogs4 жыл бұрын
So with the different position head you are able to put your blades in different spots to be able to get into tighter places and things like that. It just has different notches you choose before setting the blade.

@@JohnsonVlogs It sounds a bit pointless, yet a marketing tool as its a bi-product of switching out the head design. I think I may pass this and get theWisetool 600w on Amazon, but no LED light is a bummer on that model. My other option was the Dremmel, but no light on that either. Thanks!!!

Lol. Never seen anybody actually do the sawing motion with an oscillating tool.. funny. Does it help?

Yeah it goes a bit quicker and saves the blade from being dull in just one spot

I have had 2 of the Rigid corded tool,neither one lasted very long, noisy vibrate and get very hot compared to the Dremel I replaced them with.life time warranty is useless in Canada as shipping cost to the USA is to expensive.

Its cool. I personally enjoy the battery ones. Yeah theyll die but I got 4 batteries and I've had All my Ridgid stuff for 3 years BUT acquired them from a douchebag that had them since 2014. Heavier than others but I prefer hard and heavy and durable to light weak flimsy and obsolete. My drills are dopeeee. I didn't even know RIDGID was Home Depot's brad but it gooooes.

I liked your video about the rigid tool. Well explained & very informative. The only complaint I have is the damn blaring music. Your video is quiet & then all of a sudden you get blasted with terrible music. Most people would rather no music in a video. They want to hear what you have to say & don't care about what type of music you like. Keep up the good work & drop the music.
@JohnsonVlogs4 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks for the critique! We actually have stopped using music because of copyright reasons but we do appreciate your input! Thanks for watching

I prefer dedicated tool, it don't overused the motor. If the motor die, it don't affects the others. That one if the motor died, all.your accessories and attachments will become useless.

It’s 2020 why buy corded? Plenty of other good options that are battery operated
@JohnsonVlogs4 жыл бұрын
We bought a corded one because we already have a battery one, and it has way more power to cut through stuff, it would take twice the time to cut through something if it was battery operated.
